WELCOME TO THE SENSES
Maybe there are nine, or even 21, if being
technical is your thing. But Aristotle had it right: There are five that
matter, every day and every night for everyone. So, yes, welcome to
these five,
all of them. Let us all learn about these as early and often as possible. Let
us all teach each other about them all the time. Touch the roses budding, taste
the berries full, smell the sweetness, hear the dawn, come and see.
CHERRIES & PEACHES
Yum, yum.
ROBERT HERRICK (1591 - 1674)
Many of Herrick's poems to Julia are beyond sensually exciting. They are intensely erotic yet exquisitely tasteful.
REACH FOR THE SOUL
From Michaelangelo's "Creation of Adam" on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
STRAWBERRIES, OPEN ORANGE, AND
Watch the strawberries with open orange and sweetness, and touch them, taste them, see them, feel them, have them,
together.
CRITICAL PARTS
A view of the body's making sense of the sensed.
STRAY VEGETABLE
Magic at a table's edge.
BLISS
There is no formula.
TOUCH ME
If I've touched you, please
touch me.
Yes! Speak to me with any site that might touch you
better. Let me hear of it. Let me smell it and taste it. Yes! Let me see it.
Yes, yes, yes!
